James William Waldron

The death of James William Waldron, husband of Doris Greenfield, occurred Sunday at the residence, 123 William Street, in his 59th year.  Mr. Waldron was born at Brantford.  He was the son of the late William Waldron and Alice Farr, and had been a life-long resident of this city.  He was a member of St. Jude’s Anglican Church and the Ex-Artillery Men’s Association. During the First World War.  Mr. Waldron served overseas with the 40th Battery.  For the past 31 years, he has been employed with Art Percy Limited.  Surviving, besides his widow, are three sons, William, Windsor, John, Montreal, and Ronald, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Margaret), Wooley, Brantford, Mrs. T.H. (Jean), Thompson, Toronto and Mary, at home; two brothers, Percy and Joseph, both of Detroit; one sister, Mrs. Charles Haines, Mount Pleasant and two granddaughters. Mr. Waldron is resting at Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home, where the service will be conducted Wednesday afternoon.  Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

The funeral service for James William Waldron, husband of Doris Greenfield, 123 William Street, was conducted Wednesday afternoon at Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home.  Rev. F.W. Schaffter, minister of St. Jude’s Anglican Church, officiated.  Many friends, relatives and business associates attended.  The pallbearers were A. Austin, C. Coles, H. Henderson, J. Johnson, D. Pettit and W. Shaw.  Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
