Sergeant John Butler and Private William John arrived home on Wednesday of last week from England by way of Halifax. They looked well, although they were invalided home, and have to report at Camp Borden by 15th inst. for further orders.

The death took place at the hospital, after a short illness, of John Butler, a resident of 374 West Mill Street.

The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from Beckett’s funeral parlors of the late John Butler.  Rev. A. Carr officiated.  Interment being in the Grand River Church cemetery.  The pall bearers were composed of his comrades in the Great War, E. Miller, A. Russell, W. White, J. Porter, C. Porter and W. Garlow.
