Mrs. Mary Curran, 150 Stanley Street, today received word that her son, Private John Curran, had been wounded in action and had been admitted to the First Military Hospital at Canterbury, with gunshot wounds in the back. He was wounded on Oct. 7. Pte. Curran left here with the 215th Battalion.
