BX October 15, 1918

Mr. Oliver Elliott, 62 Ontario St., last night received official word that his son, Private John William Elliott, had been officially reported admitted to the Alexandra Military Hospital Cosham, on Oct. 5, with a gunshot wound in the hip. Pte. Elliott enlisted with the 125th in Brantford, and was drafted to the 54th, in which many Brantford men have served. Previous to enlistment he was a clerk in McFarland’s clothing store.
