John Thomas Parker

The funeral of John Thomas Parker was conducted Wednesday afternoon from the McCleister Funeral Home, with interment in the Soldiers’ Plot in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Ven. Archdeacon A.L.G. Clarke officiated at the funeral home and at the graveside.  A profusion of beautiful floral tributes testified to the high esteem in which the deceased was held by many friends.  The pallbearers carrying the flag-draped casket of their departed comrade were all members of the Canadian Legion: S. Low, N. Foran, A. Greene, W. Welsh, D. Royds and George Kenton.  Last Post was sounded at the graveside by Bugler H. Porter.
