Cause and Place of Death: Killed in Action

BX May 10, 1917

The word that Private John Walker of Echo Place had been killed in action was contained in a letter just received from the front. It is thought that he was killed last month as the letter was dated April 18. He was a married man who went overseas with the first overseas battalion of the Dufferin Rifles.
