Joseph Williams

OHSWEKEN – Another Indian First Great War veteran passed on with the death on Tuesday night in the Brantford General Hospital of Joseph Williams, Beaver’s Corners.  He served in the 114th Haldimand Battalion from 1916 to 1919, being transferred in France to the 7th Battalion.  The funeral service will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at the Cayuga Longhouse, with Major C.E. Styres in charge of arrangements, as well as of the veterans’ present.
