Private Kenneth Robertson Mounfield Reported Dead

Private Kenneth Robertson Mounfield, a former employee of the Massey-Harris works, was killed in action on April 8, according to official word sent out from Ottawa on Thursday. His brother, Mark, the oldest member of the family, resided at London, and as the head of the family the official news of the casualty was forwarded to that city. A telephone message was then sent to him here, where he was on a visit for Easter, conveying the sad news. His father died about a month and a half ago and the mother some time previous. Mrs. Gillis, St. George is a sister.

Private Mounfield enlisted in this city early in the war. He was a machinist, 22, and an active member of the Y.M.C.A.
