Orval A. Campbell

Orval Allen Campbell, 69 of R3 Exeter, died at the Westminster Hospital, London, on Friday.  Mr. Campbell was born in Brantford, son of the late Allen and Lillian Campbell, where he resided until 10 years ago, when he moved to Exeter.  He was a veteran of the First World War enlisting in the 125th Battalion and was later transferred to the 54th Battalion.  Surviving are his wife, the former Ethel Wilson, two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Olive Fay), London, Mrs. Arthur (Grace) Miller of Brantford, three brothers, Alderman E.J. Campbell, and Albert Campbell, both of Long Beach California, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  A service will be held on Sunday at 2.30 p.m. at the Elmville United Church.  Mr. Campbell will rest at the Beckett Funeral Home here from Sunday evening until Tuesday for service at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.
