Indian Veteran

Private Peter Brant Jamieson, one of the Indians from the Mohawk Reserve, returned to the city last evening. He enlisted with the Canadian Field Artillery at St. Catharines almost at the beginning of the war and went overseas with the first contingent. He has been invalided home, and hopes to secure his discharge. This was refused him in England. While overseas Private Jamieson was married, but was unable to bring his wife with him to Canada. Private Jamieson was gassed while in the trenches and is suffering from disabilities.
