Returned Brave

One of the returned heroes welcomed home yesterday was Richard Adams, a member of the Six Nations Indians, whose home is in the city.  Pte. Adams enlisted with the 114th Battalion and has been through much fighting.

ADAMS – At the Brantford General Hospital, on Friday, February 4, 1972, Richard Henry Adams, of R6 Hagersville, in his 80th year (veteran of World War One with overseas service; husband of the late Grace Staats; beloved father of Clare, R6 Hagersville, and Mrs. Peter (Joyce) Dekker of Brantford; dear brother of George Adams of Brantford; also survived by 8 grandchildren.  Resting at Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, from Sunday noon, until Monday, for service in the chapel at 3:30 p.m.  Interment in Plymouth Brethren Cemetery, Six Nations reservation.  Rev. M. Henry officiating.  Evening prayers Sunday, 8 p.m.
