Robert Gillespie Davidson, 65, died Wednesday at Guelph after a long illness. Born at Paris, he was the younger son of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. Scott Davidson and moved to Guelph in December of last year.  Mr. Davidson was employed by Penman’s Limited in Paris and then moved to the St. Hyacinthe plant in Quebec where he worked for the past 40 years.  He served overseas from 1915-1918.  Mr. Davidson is at the Bruce B. Smith Funeral Home in Paris for service Friday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in Paris Cemetery.
