COWELL – At the Brantford General Hospital, on Saturday, January 10, 1976, Stephen Henry Cowell, (retired employee, A.G. Spalding Company) in his 92nd year; beloved husband of Mabel (McGregor) Cowell; dear father of Mrs. Harold (Maude) Anderson of Massey, Ontario; Mrs. William (Alice) Garnett of Brantford; dear stepfather of Albert McGregor and Mrs. Allen (Evelyn) Moore, both of Brantford and Gordon McGregor of Mattoon, Illinois. Predeceased by his first wife Catherine Isobel Power and a daughter Ivy.  Mr. Cowell was a veteran of the First World War.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Ltd., Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, until Monday.  Service in the chapel at 3.30 p.m., including committal service.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
