BROWN – At the John Noble Home, on Thursday, September 21, 1978, Thomas Brown in his 89th year; husband of the late Ellen Uden; dear father of Mrs. Col. (Florence) B. Pedlar of Toronto, Maj. Jean Brown of Bombay, India, Mrs. Eric (Ellen) Hughes, Mrs. Ernest (Doris) Leach, Mrs. Paul (Vera) Loose, all of Brantford; brother of Mrs. Margaret Williams of Brantford, Mrs. Christina Uden of Clearwater, Florida, also survived by 7 grandchildren.  Mr. Brown was Sergeant Major of the Salvation Army for many years and a retired employee of Massey Ferguson Company.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Inc.  Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets until Saturday noon and will rest at the Salvation Army Citadel, Darling Street from 1.30 for service at 2.30 p.m.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.  Major T. Wagner will officiate.
