Constable Thomas Burn Signed With 215th – Local Police Force Contributes another Man for the Empire

One of the latest recruits secured by the 215th Battalion and one who should prove an adept soldier on account of the experience gained with the police department both here and in England, is Constable Thomas William Burn.  Constable Burn has spent four years with the local police and previous to that time spent two years with the Metropolitan police force, London, England.  During the time he has been here he has proven himself a most efficient officer.  Although he likes the work the desire to assist in overcoming the Huns has recently overcome the desire of assisting in preserving law and order in Brantford, with the result that he has joined the ranks of the 215th Battalion.  This makes the fourth from the local police department to join Brant County’s second battalion.  For the past three months Constable Burn has occupied the position of deskman at the local station, where he has proven himself a thoroughly competent man.
