Mrs. Fred Simmons, 42 Curtis Street, has received official notice that Private Thomas Smith, her brother-in-law, who enlisted with the 125th Battalion, has been wounded, receiving gunshot wounds in the head. Pte. Smith formerly resided on Burton Street, this city. He is married, his wife being in Scotland at present.
