Walter Henry Beech

Word was received here of the death in Halifax Monday of Chief Engine Room Artificer Walter Henry Beech, Toronto, formerly of Brantford. Mr. Beech was convalescing from an operation and suffered a heart attack. He was a veteran of the First Great War and served four years with the Navy in this war. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Annie Dawson, and a daughter, Miss Colleen Beech, Toronto, his father, William Beech, Toronto, and five sisters, Mrs. Kendal See, Mrs. Albert Webster, Toronto and Mrs. Lawrence Crawley, Mrs. Grant Lacey and Mrs. Robert Marten, Brantford, also three brothers, john and William, Toronto, and Fred, London England. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon with full naval honors in the Good Shepherd Church, Mount Dennis.
