Walter Harold Brown, Buffalo Street, who left here with the 125th Battalion, has been wounded in the head, according to a report received from Ottawa yesterday by his parents who reside here.

Walter Harold Brown

Walter Harold Brown, 77 of 47 Grey Street, died Monday in the Brantford General Hospital.  He was born in Brantford, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Brown, and had been a resident here all his life.  Mr. Brown was a carpenter.  He was a veteran of the First World War, enlisting with the 125th Battalion, serving overseas, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 90.  Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Gladys Stiles of Brantford.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Roy and Russell.  Mr. Brown is at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home until Thursday, for service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot at Mount Hope Cemetery with Rev. John McCallum officiating.
