Wedding Bells

Church – Holmes

At 3 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon, April 4 a quiet but pretty wedding was solemnized by the Rev. J.B. Fotheringham at Grace church, when Mary Osborne, eldest daughter of Petty Officer George Holms, R.N., and Mrs. Holmes, became the bride of Pte. Walter Church of Woodstock, now with the 215th battalion.  The happy couple were attended by the bride’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sleeth.
