MOORCROFT, Wilfred – At St. Joseph’s Hospital, Friday, October 13, 1972, Wilfred Moorcroft, 169 Brock Street, in his 82nd year; beloved husband of Ellen Hart Moorcroft; father of Thomas Moorcroft, Brantford; brother of Mrs. Emile East in England; nephew of Mrs. Isaac (Annie) Percival of Brantford; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Resting at Thorpe Brothers funeral Home, 96 West Street from Sunday at 1 p.m. Funeral Monday, October 16 at 9.30 a.m., to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption for requiem mass at 10 o’clock. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery.  The rosary will be recited by Our Lady of the Assumption Council of the Catholic Women’s League, Sunday at 3 p.m., and the parish rosary at 8 p.m.
