Missionary to Indians Enlists – Rev. W. Aird of Ohsweken Has Signed up as a Private in 114th

Setting an example worthy of emulation, Reverend William Aird, Baptist minister on the Indian Reserve at Ohsweken has enlisted in the 114th Haldimand (Brock Rangers) as a private.  Rev. Mr. Aird is enlisting as a private is following the example of numerous other ministers throughout the country, who in so doing are placing material things aside and strongly pointing out duties call to men in their pastorates.  For the past three or four years Rev. Mr. Aird has been pastor of the Baptist church at Ohsweken and is a Scotchman by birth.
