Lieutenant William Alexander Allen Killed in Action

That his brother, Lieutenant William Alexander Allen had been killed in action on April 17, was the word received yesterday by Mr. Andrew Allen, of 29 McClure Avenue, Terrace Hill. Lieut. Allen enlisted in Edmonton but formerly resided in Brantford, being an employee of a local newspaper office. He was in his 23rd year and of a very bright disposition. Lieut. Allen will be much missed. He won his commission on the field, having enlisted as a private.
