William John Argent

William John Argent, 68 Mary Street, passed away Saturday afternoon at his home. He leaves to mourn his loss one son, John Argent, Jr., in Cleveland, and two daughters, Mrs. Carl Berkley, city, and Mrs. James Spencer, Hamilton. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday afternoon to Mount Hope Cemetery.

The funeral of William John Argent was conducted Tuesday afternoon from Brown’s Funeral Home to Mount Hope Cemetery. Rev. F. W. Schaffter, Rector of St. Jude’s Anglican Church, officiated at the home and graveside. The pallbearers were: George Kenton, R. Cowey, W. Hall, D. Campbell, F.G. Lee and D. Boyd. Bugler H. Porter sounded “Last Post” at the graveside in Mount Hope Cemetery.
