BX May 4, 1925

William Bell

William Bell, 66 Colborne Street west, died in the hospital on Saturday evening after an illness of two weeks.  He was born in Paris but came to Brantford many years ago, having conducted a bakery business.  He was a participant in the Great War, going overseas with the 125th Battalion.  He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and two children.  W.H.F. Bell and Mrs. R. Girdlestone, both of this city.  The funeral will take place on Wednesday at 2.30 p.m., from his late residence to Farringdon cemetery.

William Bell

The funeral of the late William Bell took place on Wednesday afternoon from the residence 66 Colborne Street west, to Farringdon cemetery.  Rev. Dr. W.H. Langton officiated and there were many present to pay a last tribute, including a number of War veterans.  The pallbearers were: D. Lyson, C. Horsepool, G. Webb, L. Roberts, W. Prior, R. Richards.  There were many floral tributes.
