William Henry Clouse

William Henry Clouse, 149 Darling Street, passed away at his home on Thursday morning in his seventy-eighth year after four years’ illness.  He was born in Norwich and lived in Brantford almost all his life.  He was a member of the 215th Battalion for two years and five months.  He leaves to mourn besides his widow, one daughter, Mrs. J. McGinnis, City; also one brother, John Clouse, City.  The funeral will be conducted on Saturday from Reid and Brown’s Chapel with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.

William Henry Clouse

The funeral of William Henry Clouse was conducted Saturday afternoon from Reid and Brown’s Funeral Chapel to Mount Hope Cemetery, where interment was made in the Soldiers’ Plot.  Rev. E. C. McCullaugh Minister of Alexandra Presbyterian Church and Padre of the Canadian Legion were in charge of the services.  “Last Post” and “Reveille” were sounded at the graveside by Bugler J. Frost.  The pallbearers were: E. Edwards, H. Yallop, E. Griffith, G. Jackson, J. Frost and F. Wadle, all members of the Canadian Legion, Brantford Branch.
