A New Bantam

William Cooper, who has been in the employ of the city for a considerable length of time, yesterday resolved to do his bit and tied himself to the headquarters of the 216th Bantam Battalion on Colborne Street, where he cast in his lot with the small men.  Mr. Cooper, who is a widower, is 41 years of age and has a son about 16 years old. Lieutenant Walsh and Private Maurice intend taking a trip through Woodstock, Ingersoll and adjoining cities and towns tomorrow to look over recruiting prospects in those districts.
