Gordon Edmonson

The death took place at the late residence, Echo Place, on Saturday March 13, of Gordon Edmonson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Edmonson, of Echo Place, pneumonia being the cause of death.  The deceased, who was a young man of 27 years of age, went to Toronto with the second contingent having been medically passed here.  While in Toronto his heart became weak, and failed to stand the pressure put on it.  He was discharged because of his physical condition and came back to his home here.  He was able to be about until Thursday last, however, when pneumonia developed causing his death on Saturday.  He was single and an electrician by trade and was very well known, not only in Echo Place but throughout the city, and the stricken parents will have the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends in their bereavement.

Note: William Gordon Edmonson is not considered Brant County War Dead
