BX August 18, 1917

Private William Richard Hockridge of 195 Market Street was reported in this afternoon’s official casualty list as wounded. Pte. Hockridge went overseas with the 125th Battalion, being 23 years of age, unmarried of Canadian birth and employed as a teamster.

BX October 11, 1918

Mrs. Hockridge, 191 Clarence Street, has been officially notified that her son, Pte. William Hockridge has been admitted to Fort Pitt Military Hospital at Chatham on Oct. 3. He received gunshot wounds in the shoulder. Pte. Hockridge left Brantford with the 125th Battalion.
