Wounded in Head

Mrs. William McDowall received word that her son, William, who left Brantford with the Second Contingent, 19th Battalion, is suffering from shrapnel splinters in the ears. He was admitted to a French hospital where he is improving and expects to rejoin his battalion soon. He has been in the trenches 14 months, and this is the first time he has been wounded.
