BX August 28, 1917

Mrs. Eliza Nock, 5 Dover Avenue, has received official word that her son, Driver William Bellview Nock of the artillery has been admitted to the 11th General Hospital at Camiers on August 18 suffering from gunshot wounds in the right arm. Prior to enlisting he was employed at the Verity Plow Works here.

NOCK – At Brantford General Hospital, on Friday, July 18, 1980, William (Bill) Nock Sr. in his 84th year; beloved husband of Dorothy Lander, dear father of William Jr. and Roy, both of Brantford; Mrs. John House (Lillian) of St. Catharines, Mrs. Cyril Arsenault (Eileen) of Hamilton; also survived by 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; bother of the late Baden, Charles, Norman, Samuel, Mrs. T. Beal (Margaret) and Mrs. P. Soullier (Lottie); predeceased by granddaughter Judith Ann Nock.  Mr. Nock was a member of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, a veteran of the First World War, retired employee of Massey-Ferguson with 50 year’s service.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Inc. Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets until Monday, service in the chapel 1.30 p.m.  Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.  Rev. J. Spencer will officiate.
