Mrs. Annie Allen, 12 Abel Avenue, city, has been notified from Ottawa that her brother, Private William Street was wounded in action on April 2 and admitted to the 22nd General Hospital France. He received gunshot wounds in the arm, face and shoulder. Pte. Street enlisted with the 125th Battalion and later was transferred to one of the firing line units.
