William Hendry Taylor

The death occurred Sunday morning at the Brantford General Hospital of William H. Taylor, 65 Queen Street, in his sixty-eighth year.  Deceased was born in England, but had been a resident of this City for the past 28 years.  He was employed by the Brantford Municipal Railway, and retired a little over a year ago.  Mr. Taylor saw active service in the last Great War.  He was a member of the Anglican Church and former member of the Schubert Choir.  Mr. Taylor is resting at Reid and Brown’s Slumber Room until Tuesday, when service will take place in the Chapel in the afternoon.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot at Mount Hope Cemetery.

William H. Taylor

The funeral of William H. Taylor took place Tuesday afternoon from Reid and Brown’s Chapel.  Rev. F.W. Schaffter of St. Jude’s Anglican Church was in charge of the service, which was attended by a gathering of relatives and friends.  The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful.  Interment was in the Soldiers’ Plot at Mount Hope Cemetery, the pallbearers being H. Wesley and H. Johnson, representing the Brantford Municipal Railway, of which deceased was a retired employee; T. Kirton, H. Kneller and F. Chatters, representing the Brantford Branch of the Canadian Legion, and Fred Bowman Jr.
