Sergeant Edgar M. Harold Reported Wounded

Mr. John Harold, M.P., has received word that his son, Sergeant Edgar McKee Harold had been wounded in action on Oct. 12  He received gunshot wounds in the left leg, and had been admitted to the general hospital at Boulogne. Sergeant Harold had been recommended only a short time ago for the Military Medal. He went overseas with the 180th Sportsmen Battalion, over two years ago and won his stripes on the field. He has been with the 19th Battalion in France for over a year.

HAROLD, Edgar M. – At the Willett Hospital, Paris, on Friday, December 19, 1980 age 82 years; Edgar McKee Harold dear father of Charles Harold of Red Bay and Nancy Joudrey of Toronto; grandfather of Phillip Stanley, Jennifer and Katherine Harold and James and Cynthia Cook, dear brother of Muriel Pickell; predeceased by his wife Doris Robinson, 1974, brother John A., 1973 and James, 1948.  Resting at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Grand River Street North, Paris, from Sunday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Services will be private Memorial gifts to the Willett Hospital gratefully accepted.
