Word was received by Mrs. Ballinger, 144 Eagle Avenue, from Mrs. Simpson, who is now residing in Fergus, telling of the death of her husband Private William Simpson. He was wounded on Nov. 5 and died on Nov. 6. He went to France with the first draft from the 125th Brant Battalion and was formerly employed at the Dominion Flour Mills.
