BX July 27, 1916

An event of more than usual interest was celebrated yesterday afternoon in Zion Church, when Sergeant Alfred William Fitness of the 125th Battalion and Essie May Lamb, eldest daughter of William Lamb, were united in wedlock by Rev. G.A. Woodside.  The happy couple left immediately afterwards on a honeymoon trip.
