GARNER, Benjamin – Suddenly at his home, Charles Street, Paris, on Sunday, November 18, 1879, in his 88th year, Benjamin Frederick Garner; husband of the late Clara Scofield; dear father of George of Brantford; also survived by three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one brother, Albert of Toronto; predeceased by son, Leonard.  Mr. Garner will be sadly missed by his neighbors, Ann Harmer and family.  Mr. Garner was a veteran of the First World War, serving with the 13th Battery from 1914 till 1919.  He was a member and past president of Branch 29, Royal Canadian Legion and a member of the Masonic Order.  Resting at the William Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris, for service Tuesday, November 20 at 2 p.m.  Interment in Paris Cemetery.
