Mrs. William Stipe, 56 Nelson Street, has received word that her son, Bugler Bruce Stipe, had been admitted to Fulham Military Hospital, London, Eng, having been wounded in the left foot. Bugler Stipe was with the 84th Battalion and later transferred to the 75th.

Private Bruce Stipe Officially reported Wounded
Mrs. W. Stipe, 56 Nelson Street, has received official word that her son, Bugler Bruce Stipe had been wounded August 16 by a gas shell. This is the second time that Bugler Stipe has been wounded in 11 months and he had just returned to the trenches after being in an English hospital for 10 months.

Bruce Stipe, numbers among the wounded and gassed, as does William George Crouch. Private Bruce Stipe enlisted on July 18, 1915 and was wounded on Oct. 17, 1916. This time he has been both wounded and gassed.
