The death occurred this morning at Christie Street Hospital, Toronto, of Charles Christopher Ainger, 134 Grand River Avenue, aged 54 years. Deceased was a World War veteran, having served overseas with the 215th Battalion. Besides his widow, he leaves to mourn his loss two sons, Allan and Howard Ainger, at home, and two daughters, Miss Dorothy Ainger, at home and Mrs. Jack Miles, also of this City. Mr. Ainger is resting at the Beckett Funeral Home until Wednesday morning, when the funeral will take place to St. Basil’s Church. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Paris.

The funeral of Charles Christopher Ainger was conducted this morning from the Beckett Funeral Home to St. Basil’s Church, where Requiem High Mass was sung by Rev. Dr. T. Tarasuik. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Paris, where Rev. Father F.J. McReavy officiated. The pallbearers were Jack McDonald, William Haywood, Hugh Jeffrey, Alex Kermack, Norman Casey and Charles Barron.
