Charles Davis Sr.

Charles Davis Sr., of Dartmouth N.S., formerly of Brantford, died Sunday in Dartmouth.  He had resided in Brantford from 1907 to 1940 and for the past 10 years had made his home in Dartmouth.  Mr. Davis had been employed at Buck’s, Massey-Ferguson Verity Works, and Dominion Radiator, Brantford.  His father was a London city missionary and Mr. Davis started his musical career at the early age of 8 with the Mission Band as a cornet player.  He was overseas for four years as a bandsman with the 125th Battalion, and attended the Congregational Church, Brantford, as a euphonium player.  Surviving besides hiss wife Edith, is one son Charles of Dartmouth.
