Circumstances of Casualty: Killed in Action. On the night of August 10th, 1918, his Battalion was bivouacked about 100 yards West of Beaucourt, when the camp was heavily bombed by enemy aeroplanes. One of the bombs dropped on the bivouac occupied by Sapper Sebring and two others, killing them all instantly.
