Letters and documents

BX May 2, 1917

L.E. Edwards of Woodstock has received a postcard from his son, Private Ford Edwards, who went overseas with the 125th Brant Battalion. The card was sent from the Lord Derby War Hospital, Warrington. The card simply states that Private Edwards is confined in that hospital. No word had been received of his being wounded or of any illness, and Mr. Edwards is at a loss to know just what has happened to him.
