Mr. Gordon W. Brander received word on Sunday that his brother Private Gerald Livingstone Brander, had died at Edmonton of pneumonia. He was a member of the Siberian Expeditionary Force. The funeral of this young soldier will be held at Wallaceburg on Saturday.

Word has been received that Private Gerald Livingstone Brander of the Canadian Siberian Force, brother of Mr. Gordon W. Brander of this city, came to this death through sacrifice of no mean order. He had partially recovered from an attack of influenza and volunteered to aid in nursing other patients in the isolation hospital. It was while engaged in this task that he was stricken again, pneumonia developing, his death following a few days afterwards.
