Mr. Abraham Westbrook, R.R. 2, has received official word that his son, Sergeant Harry Edwin Westbrook has been admitted to 16 General Hospital at Le Treport, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Pte. Westbrook left with the 173rd Canadian Highlanders of Hamilton, and was transferred to the 54th Battalion in France, reverting from the stripes he had won to private to go overseas to France, and winning them back again in France. He was a fifth year student at the B.C.I., and was 18 years old when he left. He had served in France for 13 months before being wounded. He had been an instructor in England, but with three chums, reverted to go to France.
