Word has been received by Mrs. Helen Fixter that her husband, Corporal John Russell Fixter has been wounded in the side on Nov. 13. Corporal John Fixter went overseas with the 125th Battalion in the paymaster’s office and was afterwards drafted. He has been in the trenches about four months. His wife resides at 181 William Street.
