Captain Kenneth Edgar Cooke On Active Service

Dr. Kenneth E. Cooke, of Sydenham Street, a prominent young physician, has left for Kingston, and will next week go direct to France, where he will take charge of a field hospital for the Canadian troops. Dr. Cooke volunteered with the first contingent, but at that time they did not need his services. When the call came, however, he promptly responded.  He had been in the Terrace Hill section for about nine months and in that time had built up a splendid practice, he having had considerable experience as a surgeon.
