Louis Bremner

Louis Bremner, 68 Queen Street, passed away this morning in his sixty-first year.  Born in Scotland, the deceased had been a resident of Brantford for twenty-three years. He was employed for many years by the Brantford Roofing Company, and more recently with the Canadian Car and Foundry Company.  He was a life member of the Masonic Order in his home Lodge in Scotland; also a member of the Orange Order in Brantford.  Left to mourn his loss are his widow, Mrs. Mary Jane Bremner and one son, Louis Jr.  The funeral will be conducted Thursday afternoon from his late residence, 68 Queen Street with interment in Farringdon Burial Ground.

Louis Bremner

The funeral of Louis Bremner was conducted Thursday afternoon from his late residence, 68 Queen Street.  Rev. J.A. Berry, Pastor of the Evangel Tabernacle conduced the services, and A. Bell, Paris, rendered a solo, “Face to Face.”  Local Masonic brethren conducted the last rites of the Order at the home and at the graveside, those taking part including W. Bro. H.S. Littich, Master of Doric Lodge, W. Bro. W.D. Hurley, R.W. Bro. J.P. Temple and W. Bro. C. Johnson.  The pallbearers were H.S. Littich, Rex Burns, Harry Stanley, Roy Graham, Pat O’Leary and William Maxwell.  Interment was in Farringdon Burial Ground.  Rev. Mr. Berry officiating and being assisted by A. Bell.
