To Egypt as Nurse

Miss Marion Robertson, daughter of Major R.W. Robertson, Vansittart Avenue, Woodstock, formerly of Brantford, has been advised of her acceptance as a nurse for overseas nursing with the Army Medical Corps. Miss Robertson goes with Queen’s University hospital and it is expected that the destination will be Cairo, Egypt. Miss Robertson up to a recent date was head nurse at the Brantford General hospital, and she is very well known here.

Nurse on Flying Visit

Miss Marion Robertson, who two years ago went to France as a nursing sister with the Queen’s University Hospital Unit, from which she was transferred to the McGill unit, reached her home in Woodstock quite unexpectedly, having returned to Canada on a hospital ship, and will remain with her parents in that city for ten days, before leaving again to report for duty. She was formerly on the staff of the Brantford General Hospital.
