Paul Gauci
Paul Gauci husband of Josephine Aguis, 9, Joseph Street, died on Monday morning at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 57th year. Mr. Gauci was born in Malta, and had been a resident of Brantford since coming to Canada 37 years ago. He was a member of St. Basil’s Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. During the First World War, Mr. Gauci served in the Canadian Army. He had been employed with the Waterous Company for 10 years. Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Mrs. F.V. (Rose) Tattersall, Brantford, Miss Mary Gauci at home; two sisters, Mrs. Paul Camilleri, Mrs. John Sammut, both of Brantford; a brother and three sisters are living in Malta and a sister in England. Also surviving is a grandson. Mr. Gauci is resting at Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted on Wednesday morning to St. Basil’s Church for requiem mass. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

The funeral of Paul Gauci, husband of Josephine Aguis, 9 Joseph Street, was conducted on Wednesday morning, from Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home to St. Basil’s Church where Rev. Phillip Duffy celebrated solemn requiem mass, assisted by Rev. W.L. Ryan, of St. Mary’s Church, as deacon, and Rev. Charles P. LoBello as sub deacon. The pallbearers were B. Zahra, H. Bolton, G. Farrugie, G. Zammit, G. Adamson and A. Cantor. Interment was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Rev. P. Duffy Officiate.
