Reginald Lloyd Secord

Reginald Lloyd Secord, 68, formerly of Brantford, died Wednesday at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston.  A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Secord.  Mr. Secord was born in Brantford.  He had been employed as a moulder at the Hartley Foundry and Massey-Ferguson Company Limited prior to his retirement in 1949.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Doris) Valliere of Kingston and Mrs. Helen Barnes of Hamilton; a son, Walter Secord of London, Ont.; two sisters, Miss Hazel Secord and Mrs. Jack (Marjorie) Lowe both of Brantford; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  His wife, the former Hazel Linington predeceased him early this year.  Mr. Secord is at the McCleister Funeral Home for service Saturday at 2 p.m.  Rev. Donald E. Tansley of Marlboro United Church will officiate.  Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
