Robert Taylor

Robert Taylor of 188 Nelson Street, son of the late Alfred and Jane Taylor, died Saturday in St. Joseph’s Hospital in his 63rd year.  Mr. Taylor was born in Brantford where he resided all his life.  A plumber and steamfitter, he was formerly with E.P. Oliver, and Bennett and Wright.  A veteran of the First World War, he enlisted with the 125th Battalion n and served in France with the Machine Gun Corps.  Surviving are three brothers, Oscar of Detroit, Harold of Brantford, Edward of Toronto, three sisters, Miss Katie Taylor and Mrs. James (Mabel) Porteous, both of Brantford, Miss Florence Taylor in India.  Mr. Taylor is resting at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home until Wednesday for service in the chapel at 3.30 p.m.  Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
